The composer "Hateful Eight" also called the "trash" movie of the director.
It seems that Ennio Morricone is not a fan of Quentin Tarantino.
In a recent interview with the German edition of Playboy, The eight detestable composer called the director a "cretin" and said his films were "dirt."
"He just robs others and joins them again," Morricone told the magazine. "There's nothing original about it, and it's not a director either. So it's not comparable to big Hollywood fans like John Huston, Alfred Hitchcock or Billy Wilder. It was great. Tarantino is just cooking old things."
Morricone – who has a long and illustrated career as a composer – has won an Academy Award for his score for Tarantino film The eight detestable in 2015
Despite the honor, Morricone did not like to work on the project.
"He calls from nowhere and then wants to have a finished movie score in a few days. What is impossible," he said in the interview. "What makes me crazy! Because this is not possible. And I'm not there anymore. I told him that last time. But next time it will be difficult."
Among the best known scores of the Italian composer are Good, bad and ugly e Once Upon a Time in West.
Morricone, who recently turned 90, told Tarantino: "Man is a cretin".
