To celebrate 100 days, Belgian students have provoked outrage by disguising themselves as Muslims (videos)

In the last year of the university, the students of the Catholic school of Melle, East Flanders, celebrated their last 100 days at school on Wednesday. The tradition respected in several school signs, the latter provoked an outrage in social networks when students of the Flemish community chose Saudi Arabia's theme for "folklore."

In this video, we can see that the students kneel down to Mecca to pray. According to the director of the university, contacted by HLN, "There was no intention of causing or hurting anybody". Jan De Gendt explains "We must observe this in the atmosphere of the 100-day celebration."

In any case, this initiative surprised many people such as Lorina, a former student of the institution. "It was very disrespectful, hurt and racist. We have nothing against the issue itself. But why are some people called SI fighters? One of them still had an explosive belt." he protested

Director Jan De Gendt, however, wants to defend himself: "You have to put this into a complete play week. As a Catholic school, we attach great importance to the dialogue. We are prepared to have an open debate on this topic."
