The end of the year always appears for those who seek a position as an opportunity to return to the labor market. Motivation is temporary contracts that occur during the period. The scenario this year, however, in the entertainer. The number of entrepreneurs wishing to contract fell from 27.1% in 2017 to 18.7% this year, which represents a decrease of 31% compared to 2017. The overwhelming majority, 81.3% do not intend to contract to cover the increased demand.

The only good news that tenants who want to open temporary jobs, just over half (50.4%) must be hired. The data is included in a survey of the Belo Horizonte Buyer Chamber (CDL-BH).

According to the CDL survey, the reason for the decline is the "slow recovery of the economy that was not enough to leverage consumption significantly". The figures show that, on average, employers must hire 3,5 temporary employees, according to the survey.

The majority hires two or four employees (46.1%). Those who will increase the equipment with only an employee of 28.4%, between 5 and 7 (15.8%, 8 to 10 (5.9%) and more than 10 (3.8%).

"Last year (2017) we came from a very complicated year, which was 2016, the economy began to react, so there was a more optimistic scenario. In 2018, we began to grow, everything was pointing in that direction, but the driver's strike of trucks, the electoral period and the increase of the dollar, "said Ana Paula Bastos, economist at CDL-BH.

Even according to her, the services sector, based on the economy of the capital and metropolitan area, one of the last ones to emerge from the crisis, so the effects of the instabilities end up affecting the downturn in the continuation of the economy here.

"Interest rates are lower, the unemployment rate is slowing down, but many people are changing formal employment to informality or underemployment," he said.

Among the sectors that intend to contract highlights there are segments of supermarkets and food products (4.7%), textiles, clothing, merchandise and drafts (4.2%), articles (3.4%). J stationery stores and book stores and others amounted to 2.1% each.

The seller's position the one who has the most opportunities. The strike must accumulate 69.5% of the posts, followed by the workers (8.4%), the cash (7.5%), the deposit (6.7%). They are still part of the tax / surveillance list (5.9%) of the vacancies, assistant (1.2%) and bathroom and cough (0.8%).

Among the forms of recruitment, the indication, in accordance with the CDL survey, is the most practiced method.

Difficulties to hire

Despite the small number of job positions, especially in comparison with previous years, employers demand that job candidates be prevented.

The lack of professionalism and responsibility indicated 42.7% of traders as obstacles to their effectiveness. There is a lack of experience (20.1%), lack of training (17.4%) and costs (4.3%). For 13% there is no difficulty in hiring. Others did not respond (1.5%) and 0.8% pointed to the selection process as an obstacle.

For the CDL economist, even with the scenario of pessimism, the opportunity should be considered as a way of entering the labor market. "People who are hired must take advantage of it. You have to be proactive, have availability, without a doubt, a good opportunity," he says.

The survey conducted by CDL of BH heard 499 tenants, by phone, between October 4 and 24 in Belo Horizonte.
