Tesla, the electric car maker, announced that Robin Denholm, who is currently the financial director of Telstra, will replace Ilon Musk as the company's president, reports Reuters.
Denholm will be in charge of the Financial Director and Strategic Director of Telstra after completing his six-month notice, Tesla said.
Tesla also commented that Denholm will work as its full-time president.
She will temporarily assume the role of Chairman of the Tesla Audit Committee when she leaves Telstra, the company said.
Tesla spent several difficult months after Mousk published the tweets, saying he had the "necessary financing" to return to the private company. Mssk and Tesla reached an agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the United States in September after the agency filed a lawsuit for false information.
The agreement required that Tesla and Musk pay a fine of 20 million dollars.
