(NASA) – A large number of magnificent and rotating clouds in the North North Tempered Jupiter Dynamic Belt are captured on this image of NASA's Juno ship. Several white-emerald bright white clouds appear on the scene and also an anticyclonic storm, known as a white oval.

This enhanced image with colors was taken at 1:58 p.m. PDT on October 29, 2018 (04:58 p.m. EDT) when the ship made its sixth near Jupiter landing.

At the time, Juno was close to 4,400 miles (7,000 kilometers) of the tops of the planet's clouds, at a latitude of approximately 40 degrees north.

Citizen scientists Gerald Eichstädt and Seán Doran created this image using data from the JunoCam imager of the spacecraft.
