The star of CHELSEA, Danny Drinkwater, was accused of driving drinks after assuming he crawled in a car when he left a party.
Drinkwater, 29, was with the glamorous lawyer Beth Mantel, who met at the party, when it is understood that he hit a Skoda yesterday morning.
The accident left the rubbish scattered across the country road at Hale, Gtr Manchester, and a fence was flattened, it was said.
Cheshire police have confirmed that Drinkwater was accused of driving drinks and will appear in court on May 13.
A spokesman said: "Danny Drinkwater was arrested shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday April 8 after a vehicle collision at Ashley Road in Mere."
If convicted, Drinkwater could face up to six months in prison and a driving ban.

The star was at the charity event at a luxury bar called Victors, which asked fantasy guys to dress like "chavs."
In England, Drinkwater, 33-year-old Beth Mantel lawyer, and Skoda's pilot, Emma Brown, 30, were treated for minor injuries.
It is believed that single dads Drinkwater and Beth were left together around 12:30. The alleged break was six miles from Danny's 1.8 million home.
Beth, from Wilmslow, Cheshire, specializes in criminal law.
They arrived a few hours before the Chelsea Premier League game with West Ham.

On Friday, Drinkwater was seen leaving a VIP nightclub in London at 1:40 p.m. with two women, a blonde and a brunette.
