dEUS announces the 20th anniversary of The Ideal Crash UK and European tour | Gigwise

Muse dEUS will also launch a remastered version of the acclaimed 1999 album

That's fine, so maybe there's no new material on the road, but the news that Belgium's DEUS will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its third LP, The Ideal Crash, with a British and European tour will be well received.

And not only that, the band also announced that The Ideal Crash will be released again in a new version. But of course.

The ride takes place in 14 countries and will take place in April and May with a date from London held at the Electric Ballroom on May 8, 2019.

Speaking of the album, DEUS striker Tom Barman said: "If there ever was a time to put an album in the spotlight, then it is, without a doubt, The Ideal Crash. It was a very important album for us that immediately set the standard for the new dEUS songs that we played later ".

Produced by the Canadian Grammy winner David Bottrill, whose other credits include King Crimson, Tool and Ultraspank, The Ideal Crash has become a lot of inquiries at the end of the year and perhaps it is the band's most popular album. Join singles & # 39; Instant Street & # 39 ;, & # 39; Sister Dew & # 39; and The Ideal Crash & # 39;

Elsewhere, Chris Wolstenholme of Muse spoke with Gigwise about his admiration for the beloved DEUS and other Belgian bands Millionaire and Soulwax in a new and exclusive Gigwise interview on the new Simulation Theory album. You can read this interview here.
