In November, not only in Lithuania but also throughout Europe, it is aimed at the prevention of prostate cancer. This year, the three organizations have joined the common goal of raising the importance of men to talk more and involve as many people as possible in active prostate care activities. One of the most important is the final November event of "Uava Runaway" for men not only for men.

Pauls Rakštys, head of the Society for the Treatment of Prostate Cancer, believes that prostate cancer is increasingly diagnosed at the youngest age, and therefore not only older men should be worried about their health.
"Before, due to this illness, it was necessary to check at age 50. Today, prostate cancer research must be done more than 40 years ago. Especially for those whose relatives have cancer," says P. Rakštys.
Every year in November, several activities were organized to encourage men to perform PSA tests, not be afraid to speak out loud about prostate cancer and urge their health to take care of their loved ones.
This year, three organizations: the Prostate Cancer Society, November Bearded and the United States flee, joined forces to raise awareness about the prevention of prostate cancer this year.
The latter were organizing the latest bearded event for the fourth consecutive year, which started with friends' career and grew to an annual tradition with over one hundred participants.
"In March all marathons finished, people move less, so we thought it was a great time to grow rabbits and whiskers and spend the last Sunday of the month to run. The key idea is that you can find time to get to Event, you can spend an hour and a visit to the doctor the next day, "says Modest Bacys, one of the organizers of Running Usa.
The interest in this event is growing every year. This year's route is being prepared at the Botanical Garden of the University of Vilnius, where on November 25. It is planned to attract up to 500 participants. The initiative is sponsored by the pharmaceutical companies Ipsen and Sanofi.
Not only men, but also women and children, are invited to the Ufa Running event. "We hope all those who can spread a message about the prevention of prostate cancer in the circle of their relatives. In the end, women and children can urge their family to do research," says Bacys.
