GEORGE: Hunza Properties Bhd, Ideal Property and the Association of real estate developers and apartments (Rehda) donated RM455,172.50 to Tabung Harapan Malaysia (THM) today.
The contribution was presented to Chief Minister of Penang, Chow Kon Yeow, in his office in Komtar.
In a press conference, Jagdeep Singh Deo, state-owned journalist, city, country planner and local government committee chairman said the contribution is made up of the approval rate of real estate buyers and was made to help stimulate the sector real estate
He said: "The state government has accepted this request from Rehda through the Malaysian Property Exhibition (Mapex) 2018. The resignation was from July 22 to August 22."
As a result, seven transaction rates: three for Ideal Property and four for Hunza Properties – were donated to THM with an additional RM20,000 of Rehda. As of November 5 (3:00 pm), the fund ascended to RM196,677,575.
In a different development, Chow announced an allocation of RM200,000 from the state government to Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan Jit Sin Bukit Mertajam.
