Flootje Dessing maintains regular contact with the people who are looking for their travel program Floortje at the end of the world.
"Not every day, but it certainly happens," says 48-year-old Dessing at NU.nl. "With one you have more contact than the other."
The new season of Floortje at the end of the world, which has been appearing for five years, begins with two episodes in which the presenter travels to the remote island of South Georgia. "I wanted to go there for a long time, but it is logistically imprudent to get there."
Dessing was, therefore, almost a month on the road. "You must first go to Punta Arenas, a place in southern Chile, and then cross over to the Falkland Islands and then you are about to sail for three weeks with a boat."
"I saw an amazingly incredible nature," he continues. "I think there has never been a movie crew from the Netherlands in South Georgia before, it's so remote, if I can shoot there, I'll be very happy." And the woman I visited was a very nice person: very hot and sweet. "
The first episode of the BNNVARA program will be on Thursday. The last one, in which Dessing is in Cambodia, is transmitted on April 11.
