More and more residents of the Eindhoven airport say they experience severe discomfort. Their concerns about health complaints caused by noise or air pollution have also increased since 2012, according to the research conducted by the GGD.
It is the fourth time that such investigation was carried out. The first results of the latest investigations were presented in Eindhoven on Thursday night.
About 15 percent of neighbors in ten municipalities of the region experience serious noise problems, according to the survey. In 2012, that was almost half minus.
The investigation was repeated in December and January at the request of former Minister of State Pieter van Geel. You are working on a board for the Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Infrastructure) about the future of the airport.
More than 2,700 people completed the questionnaire.
