Luke Perry of Beverly Hills 90210 and Riverdale suffer a massive stroke

Luke Perry, who currently opens in Riverdale and found fame as Luke McKay at Beverly Hills 90210, reported that he had a massive hit.

TMZ reports that paramedics were called to Perry's house in Sherman Oaks, California, at 9:40 p.m. yesterday, and the actor was transferred to a local hospital.

"Mr. Perry is currently under observation in the hospital," said his publicist.

The website says it's not clear what condition is in Perry.

The coup happened the same day it was announced that the original stars of Beverly Hills 90210 signed to reset, but Perry, 52, is not linked to that project.

His former co-stars Ian Ziering, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris are coming back.

While working constantly from 90210, recently a whole new generation has been known playing Archie Andrews, Fred's father, in Riverdale.

Perry is a father of two children, 22-year-old Jack and 18-year-old Sophie, who shares with his ex-wife Rachel Sharp.

Jack is a professional fighter known for his ring name "Jungle Boy" Nate Coy.

Luke Perry got his first big break at Beverly Hills 90210 and went on to appear on SVU: Special Victims Unit (above), Another World, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Fifth Element and Oz.

In 2015, Perry spoke to urge his fanatics to test colon cancer after a colonoscopy revealed that he had precancerous growths.

The growths were eliminated and Perry became a lawyer to be tested, with the actor who told Fox News: "At this time, there are 23 million Americans that have not been detected and that they should be detected.

"If you wait, it could be a different scenario.

"When I heard that this was the most detectable cancer we know yet, it is the second most lethal, I could not understand why this was and wanted to get there and tell people."

Perry also starred in Another World, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Fifth Element and Oz.
