The Cure, known for hits like "Just Like Heaven" and "Friday I'm in Love", will perform for the first time in Romania on July 22 in the Plaza de la Constitución.
The organizers of Rock the City also announced that next to the famous British band, the three Irish post-rock God is an astronaut.
The tickets for the The Cure concert will be available from tomorrow, on November 6, at 9:00 a.m., on the Eventim network.
According to News.ro, The Cure was created in 1976 in Crawley, West Sussex. The band debuted in 1979 with the album "The Imaginary Boys", framed with post-punk and new wave. The soloist and composer Robert Smith has been a constant member of the group that has made some changes of style over the years. The Cure released 13 studio albums, sold in more than 27 million copies. More recently, "4:13 Dream" appeared in October 2008. Among the band's most famous songs are "Let's Go to Bed" (1982), "Just Like Heaven" (1987), "Lovesong". and "Friday I'm in Love" (1992). The band received two Brit Awards, two Grammy awards and a Ivor Novello trophy.
