Adriana Lima announced that Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2018, which took place in New York on Thursday, will be the last for her.
The longest "angel" of the famous intimate brand of underwear ended up moving in the audience and could no longer control emotions, bursting into tears.
"Dear Victoria, thank you for showing me the world, sharing my secrets and, most importantly, not only that they gave me the wings but that taught me to fly. All love for the best followers of the world! With love, Adriana," wrote Lima on Instagram, a message accompanied by a video that adjusted him on the scene of fashion shows, but also on the podium.
"I think this year will be the culmination of my career," Lima told journalists from People magazine. "It was my eighteenth concert and I was so excited as the first. I always liked being on the podium and being part of Victoria's Secret shows, it's my passion."
Adriana Lima went through Victoria's Secret for the first time in 1999, when she was 18 years old and in 2017 she received the title "Victoria's Secret Highest Angel." She used three times Fantasy Bra, the most expensive brand, launched annually.
Adriana Lima, who is the mother of two children, said she would dedicate her family and projects to help women around the world. Adriana Lima was married for five years with the Serbian basketball player Marko Jarić and they have two girls together.
