The new BMW 8 Series was presented in Romania: the 530 cc version of gasoline starts at 128,000 euros

By the middle of this year, BMW published the price of the new 8 Series 840d xDrive Coupe. The 3.0 liter diesel engine and 320 hp variant has an initial price in the Romanian market of 102,339 euros with VAT.

On the weekend just finished, BMW Romania organized a presentation event dedicated to the new Series 8. On this occasion, the representatives of the German manufacturer also published the price of the M850i ​​xDrive gasoline variant.

In Romania, the new BMW M850i ​​xDrive Coupe goes from € 127,985 of VAT. For this amount, customers will enjoy a 4.4 liter V8 gasoline that produces 530 horsepower and 750 Nm between 1,800 rpm and 4,600 rpm. The unit's resources are managed by an 8-speed automatic box and the integral drive system xDrive. Under these conditions, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h occurs in 3.7 seconds.

Standard, the new 8 Series M850i ​​xDrive Coupe is equipped with LED headlights (optional BMW Laserlight) with a 12.3-inch diagonal instrumentation and a Head-Up display. Customers will also be able to enjoy the M-Adaptive Suspension and the Active Integral Management.

The presentation event took place at the Filaret Electric Works and the organizers also presented a BMW E9 model, launched 50 years ago and considered the first modern brand coupe. According to representatives of German builders, the debut of the new 8 series in the local market is scheduled for November 24. In the Romanian market, the main rival of the new Coupe BMW 8 Series is the Mercedes-Benz S Coupe Class model, currently launched by the Stuttgart builder.
