Action goes to Group B of AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 where two of the heavyweights of the tournament – Thailand and Indonesia – face at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok on Saturday.
Thailand, the most successful team in the AFF Suzuki Cup won the tournament five times, came to the tournament as a favorite once again and just cemented that bill with a 7-0 blow from Timor-Leste in its first game game.
Adisak Kraisorn was the hero of the match since the striker scored six goals in his first six shots, but Thailand suffered a blow from injuries since then in the defense form Manuel Bihr confirmed that he was out of the tournament with a thigh strain.
Meanwhile, Indonesia had a rather dazzling start for the campaign and the five-time runners are the second in Group B with a win for two games. In his first game against Singapore, Tim Garuda's team went down with a single goal frustrating his followers in the process.
They had a better presentation in the second position, but had to go back to defeat Timor-Leste 3-1 to record their first victory in the 2018 AFF Suzuki Cup. And Indonesians can not afford another tie with matches against a strong Philippines who will also arrive on November 25.
