WHSmith is set to make its mark in Hong Kong after calling a new franchise company for its international travel retailer arm.
The association, with the King Power Group, will allow the merchants of books and stationery to develop their brand and concepts in Hong Kong as part of the plans to increase their presence in Asia.
"We are currently present in six countries of the region: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and China, with excellent business partners and we are delighted to receive King Power Group as a new franchise partner," said WHSmith, Louis President by Bourgoing. .

With 35 years of travel experience in Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent, King Power Group employs more than 10,000 people and operates more than 1000 stores in various retail categories.

The news comes a few weeks after WHSmith acquired InMotion, the largest digital accessory dealer based on the airport in North America, in an agreement of 155 million dollars.
