A patent has been created for the new motion controller

PlayStation VR: Patents have emerged for the new motion controller

November 5, 2018 at 6:14 PM:

The PlayStation VR is quite successful compared to other virtual reality headphones. But one or two players could wait for a second generation. And this could bring a completely new motion controller with it.

Sony has launched a new patent for a VR controller. It is rumored that you are looking for another generation of PlayStation VR that will probably hit the market with PlayStation 5.

New model without balls of light

The patent titled "Highing Lights Controller Lay of the Controller" was registered by Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan. The controller is described in the patent and acts as a new development of the PS Move controller. In the version shown here, the light balls that should give rise to a kind of ring with a lighting function will fire.

Unlike PlayStation Move, the driver described seems to be designed from the beginning of VR. PS Move was released in 2010 for the PS3 and it was with the launch of PlayStation VR another use.

PS5: The new patent indicates hardware-based V-Sync technology

Another Sony Interactive Entertainment patent suggests hardware-based V-sync technology that may be appropriate for the PlayStation 5.

The rumors of another generation of PlayStation have been for some time. Last month, Sony hired employees for a "next-generation Playstation campaign." And, according to speculation, developers will be familiar with the PlayStation 5 as part of the next PlayStation DevCon.

While Sony is still waiting for the announcement of the next-gen console, but has already stressed that new hardware is needed, there are analysts and industry representatives waiting for a console launch in 2020.
