FORECAST | Weekend outlook: Scattered rain and snow

Whew We made it out of that wintry mess from yesterday with much calmer conditions today, but there could be a few scattered snow and rain showers flying for your Friday.

By the weekend, nothing looks too organized, but we'll have a boundary that sets up over the area and it can squeeze out some rain and snow. This boundary will remain stationary from late Saturday through early Monday and we'll likely see periods of rain / snow showers from time to time – but again, nothing organized or that lasts.

For your Thanksgiving travel week, we look QUIET. In fact, much of the eastern half of the U.S. looks quiet, which is great news for those with travel plans! Time will not recover in whole lot as we'll remain in the 30s and 40s for much of the week.

TODAY | Snow shower early, otherwise mostly cloudy and cold. | Upper 30s

SATURDAY | Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered rain / snow. | Around 40

SUNDAY | Mostly cloudy with a few rain / snow showers possible. | Upper 30s

MONDAY | Partly cloudy. | Around 40

TUESDAY | Partly cloudy. Rain / snow chances. | Mid / Upper 30s

WEDNESDAY | Partly cloudy and quiet. A great travel day! | Mid / Upper 30s

THANKSGIVING | Sunshine with late day clouds. Mild Like the turkey. | Mid / Upper 40s

FRIDAY | 30s for early shoppers. Mostly cloudy and mild. | Near 50
